You can always take the implants out at any point of time, but the

Facts to consider
Health insurance premiums may increase, coverage may be dropped or future coverage may be denied. Treatments as a result of plastic surgery complications may not be covered either. Consult with your health insurance carrier about the conditions in your policy.
Breast augmentation is not covered by health insurance. Only in the case of reconstructive surgery due to other illnesses, it is covered by some insurance policies.
Who is a good candidate for breast augmentation surgery?
According to most doctors, a woman in good health (emotional and physical) is a good candidate. The doctor will further review your clinical history and your family's clinical history to determine if you are a good candidate.
Mental health. Some people may have very unrealistic expectations of what they can get out of the surgery. Most plastic or elective surgeries tend to raise people's self-esteem and make them feel better about themselves. But by itself, breast augmentation will not make you happier, wealthier, or stop a divorce or a break up. If breast augmentation would be capable of this, most of the Hollywood celebrities will be happy.
Who is not a good candidate?
Women who do not have perfect health, who have problems that may aggravate the risk from anesthesia or healing, are often not good candidates. But remember that the doctor has the last word and this is only a general guideline.
One other aspect to consider is how your body heals. If you have a history of developing scars, you may develop larger than normal scars with breast augmentation surgery. Your doctor will evaluate the situation and decide accordingly.
Smokers and breast augmentation surgery
Smoking raises risks during surgeries; any surgery, not only cosmetic surgery. You have to inform your doctor if you smoke and you will be required to stop smoking some time before the surgery. This is not a joke; you can die if you do not obey your doctor's orders.
If you are nor willing to or cannot stop smoking, you should be honest with your doctor and let him or her evaluate the situation. Do not think that you can fool the doctor and you will be OK. You may think that you may be able to fool the doctor, but during the surgery, when complication arises, it is your life and you are the one going to face the consequences.
