Mariah is very charismatic and her smile covers a lot of style mistakes, but it could not cover this dress. She looks huge and sort of too tight in this dress. Perhaps, it is the material or it was too small or it is just the wrong dress for her. There is just something wrong with the look. 

 



A tight dress generally does not make people look slimmer. On the contrary, it highlights the negatives. Mariah's arms look like those of a wrestler in this dress. She has such a beautiful cleavage that she can look good in many styles, but not in this one.
