Cut down sugar for your health and beauty  
Tips on eliminating added sugar from your diet-

 
No doubt we are sweet tooth-people, but in the USA, we are consuming too much sugar in many forms, such as high fructose corn syrup and others, like never before. Continues below

While we all love sugar, we only need it in moderation. Excess sugar has many consequences including not so healthy skin and extra pounds. 

We should be consuming less than ten teaspoons of added sugar each day but we consume double that amount. It is well known that a can of soda contains 12 teaspoons of sugar. If you can cut down your sugar consumption, not only can you manage your weight better, you can also do something about your skin and your overall health.

Susan Ciminelli, the founder of a luxury spa in New York, suggests in her book "The Ciminelli Solution: A 7-day plan for radiant skin" that we cut back on added sugar to cleanse our system. It is fine to consume naturally present sugar, for example, in fruits.         

How to cut down sugar consumption?

1-
Drink water. Preferably plain water. You can add fresh lemon or lime for flavor or other fruits but nothing else. No artificial flavors recommended.

Sodas. They are not good for you; they do not have nutrients. Treat them like dessert; just drink them on special occasions. If you are addicted to sodas, start reducing your consumption, you may start by drinking less and preferring their diet versions. But your goal should be less soda in either version. 

3-
Fruit juices. Preferably natural fruit juices, but watch out for the supermarket versions because they are full of sugars and calories.

4-
Hidden sugar. Read labels carefully. Almost all processed foods contain added sugar. Look at the labels in breads, sauces, etc. The manufacturers may use other names rather than sugar they may use: fructose, dextrose, sucrose, and maltose.

Within a matter of weeks you will see that you will not only feel better, your skin will look much better.
