
You’ve probably read about a study that found that working at a desk all day is worse for your health than smoking. According to this study of people who spend long hours on a desk without much movement are causing great harm to their bodies. Even if you exercise every day, it is necessary to move during the day.
Something simple that you can do is sit properly, that is straight and abdomen slightly depressed. This makes the muscles work a little bit more than just slopped in your chair.
As I work all day sitting in my home office, I decided to move a bit during the day. Some of the things I do are: dancing, going for walks, using the bathroom or shower room downstairs to force me down the stairs, walking while talking on the phone, etc. But as I work from home I have the opportunity to put a Youtube video and get to dance myself so that I do not harm my health.
