While pink may be a great color for women, it isn't easy to pull it off flawlessly all the time. I think it is OK to wear pink as long as you don't come across as cheesy or appear as if you are trying too hard to be cute. A great example is provided by Kat Kramer who wore a pink/black dress with a pink scarf and then matched it with a matching Gucci bag. I think she looks just great in this ensemble.

Louis Vuitton Richard Prince handbag collection
After reading the book "DeLuxe How luxury lost its lust," I may be somewhat ambivalent about designer handbags, but there is no denying that when it comes to art and aesthetics the luxury goods brands do a terrific job. Obviously, Louis Vuitton is among the leaders. From time to time this fashion house teams up with other great artists. For example, a collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami led to a totally new line that everyone fell in love with.
Now this designer label is partnering with great American artist Richard Prince to launch another beautiful line of handbags. Below is a slideshow from the launch party.

Petra Nemcova evening bag
Petra Nemcova is a chic girl, not quiet a style icon yet, but she has potential. I really liked the stone-studded dress that she wore to the "Heart of Gold Ball" at the Wall Street location of Cipriani. The matching evening bag also looks good with that gorgeous dress.
