Michelle Obama in the little black dress

I love the attention that Michelle O. has received in Europe and her coverage here at home. There are so many pictures of her and comments about her dresses. I know the G 20 Summit is a serious affair, and let's be honest, fashion is not as important.

However, I like to see Michelle wearing so many pretty outfits. I particularly like the dress in this picture; she looks so feminine and elegant.

I do not want to get into politics here, but I do not recall if Laura Bush got that much attention. I like to see a powerful lawyer graduated from two Ivy League universities looking beautiful, proving that beauty and brains are not enemies. By the way, are there any other wives accompanying their husbands in the G 20 or only Michelle O. and Carla Bruni? One would think that only two first ladies came.

Michelle Obama Vogue India

I was pleasantly surprise to see that Vogue India had Michelle O. on the cover. Usually Vogue India’s covers are very different than the US version. I have not read the article, but it should be very similar to the one we had.

Many people did not have good comments about the picture used in the US Vogue cover, I personally like it, I did not like some of the pictures in the rest of the article. I hope Michael Obama inspires women in India as well as in all countries to study and be strong and independent.
